Abstrakt
The presupposition of the existence of an objectively existing reality cognizable by man corresponds not only to the principles of materialist philosophy, but also to the methodological demands of science. On this basis an adequate conception of scientific explanation and anticipation can be presented that represent much more than only useful hypotheses for arranging experience, for definitions based on convention, or than mere instruments for the solving of cognitive difficulties.
