In the paper the author deals, first of all, with Marx’s idea of humanism, in which, conceived as the aim of communism, the life work of Marx reaches its height. In connection with problems of Man, „estrangement“ and „searching“ for a place of Man in Nature and society the idea of humanism represents the aim and consequence of Marx’s conception of construction of the classless so ciety, the communism.
Basing on the authentical texts of Marx, complicated problems of the rise and forming of Man are analyzed. According to Marx the „human nature“ exists in general, it is, however, „modified“ in each historical epoque. Throughout the history Man forms himself by means of work, practical activity: So in fact Man creates himself.
In capitalism Man is reduced to a supplement of Machine. The liberation of Man leads through the abolishment of private property. It is only in socialism that the personality of Man can be developed fully and the idea of humanism can be realized.
