Heidegger and the Classical German Philosophy

(Original title: Heidegger a německá klasická filosofie)
Filozofia, 50 (1995), 1, 8-17.
Type of work: Papers
Publication language: Czech
Abstract

The paper is an attempt to show how the basic motives of classical German philosophy had been transformed by Heidegger. In its first part the similarity as well as differences between Heidegger and Kant’s transcendental questions are revealed. The second part shows, how Schelling’s idea of the „leaping“ of the subjective possibility into the being had been transformed by Heidegger. In the third part of the paper Heidegger’s late drawing upon Hegel’s idea of the selfnegation of being is examined. The paper is a continuation of previous two ones.
