Abstract

The essay inspired by E. Husserl's ideas tempts unlike the vulgar form of the thesis about incommensurability of worlds and discourses, which comes from naive understanding of thoughts of some postmodern ironists (R. Rorty), to show the Lebenswelt prodigy. That is, the primary world of life on the basis of which the variety and differencies develop. The author tempts to clarify how it is possible that quite different speakers can understand each other as well as to be able to argue and paradoxically to defend the thesis about incommensurability of discourses. The author shows the Lebenswelt guestion (the effort to dwell within hearing distance) as the level of the original experience of an other self, which opens us the entrance to the reality as the dimension which our further activities refer to both in their origin and life validity and function.
