Abstrakt

The author defines the environment in relation to the changing geospace of our planet and in relation to the changing biosphere. A new situation appeared due to the rapidly growing numbers of the population and the extention of economic activities, backed by highly entropie technology produced discrepancy between the inherited biosphere and the created technosphere. The author does not share the opinion that negative effects upon the environment are a toll for technological progress. They are the result of insufficient integrative approaches to the developing whole and of delayed response of technology and economy to requirements of taking over new high technologies. He points to the character of the mechanism of forming new qualities in the environment, the relation of lability and stability of ecosystems and the types of motions in which the functionality (synchronousness) and evolution (diachronousness) of their structures. He lays stress on the need of elaborating more deeply integrative approaches to the environment.
