Abstract

The paper deals with so called aesthethical-religious worldview of two Fries’ followers: Andrej Vandrák and Samuel Steiner. Influenced by Fries, they both highly appreciated the ability of presentiment, which makes the insight into the hidden essence of things possible. This involves, however, the elimination of the dividing line between the subjective and the objective, as well as the destruction of classical metaphysics. The author’s point is, that this tendency is present in the thinking of both thinkers.
