Abstract

The paper presents the problems of the so-called „controversy over the noetic realism“ which took place in Slovak philosophy in the forties. The author concentrates exclusively on the one partaking epistemologie conception — the intuitive realism — she investigates its basic starting points and its world-view basis. Apart from the conceptions of N. O. Losskij, which are analyzed within the framework of the contemporary world and Russian bourgeois philosophy she also deals with the views of J. Dieška, the most active propagator of intuitivism in Slovakia.
