Abstract

The autohor deals with some relevant relations between the ideas of the Voice Movement and social-philosophic views of M. Hodža that later lead into the so called ideology of Agrarianism in Slovakia in the end of the 19th at the beginning of the 20th century. Special attention is here paid to the confrontation of Hodža’s views on some concrete social-philosophical questions with the position and views of T. G. Masaryk. The author concludes that M. Hodža, when formulating his, in substance, reactionary ideology Agrarianism, applied actively the principles of the Voice Movement, backed by Masaryk’s views.
