Abstract

Following the character and the consequences of the contemporary scientific-technological development in the sphere of interpersonal connections, the author of the paper attempts at pointing out those factors that shift the phenomenon of man’s responsibility to new positions and that endanger and accentuate it at the same time. In this respect the author specifies the contents of 'the notion of responsibility, distinguishing it from the contents of the notions of conscientiousness and duty, and fixes it into the substance of contemporary man — personality.
