Abstract
In the paper the correlation of the Marxist-Leninist theories of the nation and the categories of dialectics is attempted. It makes possible not only to understand deeper the content of the categories „nation, nationality, national“ but also their mutual determination and connection. The author proves that the „nation“ and „nationality“ exists as a singular independent material formation. The „national“ exist only due to them and as their unity. „The national“ always contains the international (the general) which again exist only through the individual (the nation) and the specific (the nationality). As the individual does not exist in any other way like in this connection which leads to the general, the very constituents of the national the nation and nationality — lead to the international. The national does ont exist without the international and conversely. Every nation exists only in this connection that is linked with the international. This thesis expresses the inner, lawful tendencies of functioning of the national form or the existence of mankind, the inevitable direction of its development.
