Abstract

The paper inquires into the works of N. O. Losskij which cover his activity at Bratislava university during the period 1942 to 1945. The author examines general philosophical starting-points of Losskij’s intuitivism and the conception of noetical monism, built upon them, namely in the form in which it was elaborated in works written in this period. Simultaneously it expresses polemical disputes between him and his Slovak adversaries supporting the noetics of critical realism. It was especially the dispute between Losskij and I. Hrušovský, as well as Š. Hatala. In the end the author summarizes his critical remarks on Losskij’s works as well as Losskij’s important incitements.
