Abstract

In the paper main characteristics of Goodman’s philosophy are analyzed: nominalism, constructivism,, relativism and pluralism. The author shows Goodman’s attitude to physicalism and phenomenalism, he analyzes basic operations of worldmaking. The radicalism of Goodman’s relativism and pluralism is documented in his way of using concepts „world“ and „version“. The relation between them leads to some paradoxes. In the paper the criteria of the constructivist theory of truth and its standing with regard to other conceptions of truth are also examined.
