Abstract

In the paper the authors develops the idea according to which the only alternative of the possible positive solving of contemporary global problems of mankind is the enforcement of human and universal dimension of development of culture and civilization. The epicentre of the contemporary cricis which in such acute form is represented by the global problems is namely Man, the individual and social dimension of his existence, the quality of his life of society. In this connection the author examines the mutual bindings of two determinant forms of human activity — the utilitarian-pragmatic and reflective, cultural-formative activity.
