Abstract

The author concentrates upon the study of the development of Marxist-Leninist philosophy in Slovakia in the years 1938—1944. She gives an outline of the theoretical elaboration of problems of Marxist philosophy, respectively of phylosophic interpretation of important political-ideologic questions of the period in question, basing on the analysis of historical sources, above all the illegal press, party documents, whereby special attention is given to the only theoretical of that time — the Bolshevist Flag. Among the most important questions, from the viewpoint of the development of Marxist Leninist philosophy, belonged the following ones: the necessity of theoretical analysis of the imperialist stage of capitalism and the character of war, problems of the class struggle, socialism and people’s s 'democracy in all its forms, the revelation of the substance of fascism, the solution of the national question, patriotism and proletarian internationalism, questions of propagation of Marxist-Leninist ideology in oppposition to the clerofascist ideology, the education in scientific worldview etc.
