Abstrakt

The paper offers a commentary on the philosophy of M. Merleau-Ponty, who fall into oblivion for some time in Slovakia. It was written on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of his birthday. It gives a survey of Merleau-Ponty's studies during last three decades in France and in other countries. It tries to answer the question, wether this specific philosophy of natural world, bodiness, language and sense can be labeled ''postmodern".
