Abstract

The paper is a continuation of two previous papers ([16] ; [17]), in which I have discussed the issues of extent and measurement. It gives an account of classical views of Brian Ellis and Karel Berka on the process of measurement. First it examines Ellis‘ terms such as arrangement, order, range, fundamental, associative and indirect measurements. Then it analyses Berka‘s terms such as quantity, quality, value, dimension and naming/labelling.
