Abstract
The paper contains notes on the problem of primary and secondary formations of consciousness in connection with the socalled lag between the consciousness and being. The author holds that the dynamism of primary formations of consciousness is coincidental with the development of the base while secondary formations are bound to the form of the social whole and their temporality is determined by qualitative changes of this whole.
